They are right and I am wrong. I make this statement after giving it years, if not decades of thought. I use words as a weapon but I choose them carefully, whether you think so or not. There is no persecution complex involved, nor am I paranoid. Okay, that last one may be a stretch but not to the extent where I need a legal guardian and/or medication. Nor do I give a shit about their poor excuse for double speak and intentional deflection on any given topic. Sure, once in a while I may take something out of context but I doubt it is possible to do so 100% of the time.

I get confused easily as of late. It is either that or the world has a very short attention span. Both could be correct I think. For better or worse, we are who we are and that is a nation deeply divided. We can not get past party lines and act as one, even though our core beliefs on just what this country is supposed to be are the same. That’s right, I said the same. Take away all of the petty issues of the week and we all want to live our lives with little to no government interference; or not.
So why do we forget that the last guy broke the law and was above the law? How is it that only the new guy is the “evil boogeyman”? Go back past the guy before this guy and most of, if not all the other guys were fucked up as well. We will never like the government but then again are we really suppose to? Find me a perfect president and I will sell you a bridge on the moon for real cheap. Thirty-four fifty if you act quickly!

It is a new decade and I am supposed to have a new outlook on life; a more positive spin, if you will. A magic eraser comes by and wipes away the last ten years of bullshit, just as it has in previous years. So here it goes:
Fuck that noise. Am I transmitting; is this thing on? Good. I just wanted to make sure that I was coming through since we rolled over from a 9 to a 10. I didn’t want some bullshit Year 2000 bug to eat up all of my sarcasm. Seriously, that shit was real man; didn’t you have to live in a bunker for like 3 months back at the end of 1999 into 2000? Oh wait, nothing happened and all of those people a still trying to finish up their over abundance of MRE’s.
